Privacy policy
This policy explains what information the Supercar Smiles website (supercarsmiles.org) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
Information you send us. If you use the contact form or the vendor application, we receive what you type: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your business name for vendor applications, your message, and whether you ticked the optional box to hear about future events.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider, Render, keeps standard server logs that include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels or tracking scripts, and this site does not set cookies.
Information we do not collect. Ticket purchases and car registrations happen on Eventbrite, not on this site. We never see your payment details. Eventbrite's own privacy policy applies to anything you do there.
How we use it
- To reply to your message or process your vendor application.
- To coordinate with you about the event if you become a vendor.
- To email you about future Supercar Smiles events, only if you ticked the optional box. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honour unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
- To protect the site and comply with the law.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who else handles your information
- Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our inbox. Submissions pass through their service and are subject to their privacy policy.
- Render hosts the site and keeps the server logs described above.
- Eventbrite handles tickets and registrations.
- Google Maps opens only if you click "Get directions".
Beyond these providers, we share information only if the law requires it or to protect the safety of our guests.
How long we keep it
Form submissions and related emails are kept until the event has wrapped up and any follow-up is complete, and no longer than 12 months after the event, unless you asked to hear about future events. In that case we keep your name and email until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept by Render for a short, rolling period.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within 30 days.
- You can withdraw consent to event updates at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
- Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have additional rights, including the right to know, delete and opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the home page.
